LittleBigPlanet, it was brought to the attention of Sony Computer Entertainment that
one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game
contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. Immediate action was
taken to recall and re-master LittleBigPlanet.
This action has clearly affected the release date of LittleBigPlanet, but I can now
confirm that we are working towards achieving a 7th November launch date for
LittleBigPlanet in Australia and New Zealand. I can also reiterate the announcement
made on Friday that, from the date of release of the game, consumers will receive a
copy of LittleBigPlanet with every PLAYSTATION 3 console purchase.
