The humble computer mouse has changed since its creation in 1981.
When it shipped as a part of a personal computer and was only intended for navigation with the Xerox 8010 Star Information System. It hit the mainstream when it appeared with the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Since then the mouse has had many changes as it got smaller and more buttons and a wheel appeared on it. Gamers have had a large say in the design and road map of the mouse as it is integral component when playing most games. A good mouse can be the difference between hunter or hunted. Razer, a leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming peripherals has launched the Razer Mamba. This mouse not only looks different it but it comes with the option of wired or wireless. With dual mode wired/wireless functionality, the Razer Mamba lets users immediately and seamlessly switch from wired to wireless. It feels smoother when using it as it has a polling rate of 1ms compared to traditional wireless mice that poll at 8ms. It also has the world’s fastest 5600DPI Razer Precision 3.5G Laser sensor. The Razer Synapse on-board memory lets gamers store there profile and bring their mouse settings wherever they go. The mouse should give you about 14 hour’s continuous gaming depending on the surface enough for any hardened gamer. This gear is designed squarely for the gaming market as manner people would not care about polling rates or having memory in their mouse. With a hefty price tag of $299 you need to be sure this mouse is for you. I am not sure how this will affect my skill in solitaire but is sure does look good.
