Millennius have brought an Android 2.1 smartphone to the market in their apanda A60.
The apanda A60 is sleek and functional smartphone with a good solid feel.
It has a sensitive multi touch capacitive display, and the buttons on the phone are stable and easy to use.
This phone comes loaded with a vanilla Android 2.1 OS, which, not being modified and bogged down by a custom OS,
makes Millennius\' apanda A60 responsive and quick.
The Android 2.1 OS the apanda uses comes with a suite of apps that allow you to get going with all the basics of today\'s smartphones.
If that is not enough you can use the included Android Market to grab more apps for the apanda and with over 70,000 apps
currently available there are plenty of options to customise the apanda to your liking.
Email connectivity is available through the GMail app to connect to your personal email or connect to your works mail
servers to sync your email and contacts. Setting up the connection to my works exchange servers was simple.
Decent stills and video can be taken using apanda\'s built-in 5.0 megapixel camera. Sound from the built-in speakers
is good but the 3.5mm audio jack allows you to connect headphones for best audio reproduction. The phone functionality of the
apanda A60 is great. Calls were crisp and clear with both parties being able to hear even with background noise.
Reception too was good even in some challenging spots in an old brick building.
Some of the things that I really like about the apanda A60 from Millennius are the fact that it is not
locked into a contract. You purchase the phone outright and then select a plan from the carrier that suits you best.
Just make sure you have data included in that plan too. Also being an Android means that you can just connect
it to your PC via the micro USB connector and you can transfer files etc to the apanda.
No having to transfer files and music to your phone via another party.
If you are looking to get an Android phone, or even upgrade your existing phone,
then you definitely want to take a look at Millennius\' apanda A60. Great phone,
good price, unlocked and ready for you to customise for your use.

See you on the server\'s
