Set around few years after the first adventure, new adventure revolves about a doomed voyage home of Marco Polo from China in 1292. Marco Polo departed with 14 ships and over 600 passengers and crew – but when he arrived at his destination a year and a half later, only one ship remained, and only 18 of the passengers had survived. Although Marco Polo described almost every other aspect of his journeys, he never revealed what happened to the ships that were lost at voyage.  In this chapter you are set off to find the lost treasure of Marco Polo but like every other adventure you are not alone, Serbian war criminal Zoran Lazarevic  is after the same treasure.

There are 26 chapters to conquer, which will take you through different environments snowy areas, jungles, city walls and so forth. As Drake you are able to jump, climb, and scale narrow ledges. At any time you are able to carry two weapons a pistol and a primary weapon which can be replaced by picking up from you killed enemies in addition your ammunition will be replenished. Other features of controlling Drake are to take cover behind corners or low walls using either aimed or blind-fire to kill his enemies. If he is undetected you get the option to use stealth to sneak around your enemies and knock’em out, an awesome experience because there so many ways of doing it.

Like every adventure there are puzzles to be solved and tressure to be collected, the game requires you to solve them so you can proceed to the next chapter. In case you hit a wall, refer to Drake’s journal, which provides clues towards the puzzles solution.  Another nifty control is a hint system when enabled it provides clues mainly directions of the objective.

The game can be played online there are 4 modes which includes your regular Team Deathmatch, Plunder (traditional capture the flag) , Elimination ( goal is to eliminate the other team three out of five times.) Chain Reaction which has the player capturing flags, but the player must do them in a specific order. There is a cooperative mode,  Gold Rush where players must team up to obtain a treasure.

The game has been a nifty continuation from its previous adventure. In my opinion Naughty Dog has managed to fulfil and satisfy every need of a gamer in every aspect of the game, from a great storyline to an unbelievable graphical novel.  Overall, a masterpiece.

Pro’s:

  • Graphical Engine  awesome
  • Story line
  • The stealth kills and kills from cover in particular are fantastic,
  • AI

Con’s:

  • Odd problem locking to some cover objects
  • Look alike enemies
