Acronis True Image 2010 is a major update to an excellent backup solution bringing true simplicity to a critical task – that of ensuring your data is backed up. The updated interface and menu system is very easy to navigate with it\'s new Vista-like feel. Tasks are easy to follow and schedule with the ability to go from a one click backup to a fully personalised backup schedule based on your needs. The process of recovering a file or even the whole PC in the event of a disaster is simple and intuitive. And a plethora of new features have been added to give a complete backup solution.
 
Added features include a non stop backup, an online backup, support for Virtual environments allowing you to convert backup images into .vhd files and extended support for Dynamic Disks and GPT. Other extremely useful features include the ability to boot from an archive to test that it will work, or the try and decide feature where you can install programs and open documents to test them and either apply the changes to your system or discard them. A feature corporate users have enjoyed for a while has been added to Acronis True Image 2010 and that is universal restore. This allows you to restore your image onto different hardware if for example your computer dies and is replaced saving you from having to reinstall everything again.
