Greetings my fellow gamers/readers. My name is Alijen but my friends call me Ali and I am a gaming fanatic! Yes, I admit it, I’m obsessed. If they had ‘Gamers Anonymous’ classes like they have Alcohol Anonymous, then I am positive my girlfriend would make me attend. But it’s not like gaming is the only thing I’m in to….I love my house music, I love to travel and I LOVE food! All types of food! When it comes to food I will try just about anything. I Also enjoy watching a good Asian movie (Shinobi, Red Cliff etc.), or a good Anima (Devil Man and Ninja Scroll are some of my favourites) But lets go back to my love of gaming….

My obsession with gaming first started many years ago with Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Since then I have pretty much owned all of the gaming consoles ever created. At this stage I am a happy owner of a PS3, which keeps me occupied for a minimum of 3 hours a day (addicted….I know) J. I play all sorts of games but preferably FPS. My favorite game and biggest addiction by far has to be “Call of Duty 4,” especially the online experience. At times when I have been sad or needed a friend, or perhaps needed to let some frustration out, COD4 has been there for me to help me through the tough times J.  

What makes gaming a huge success in my opinion is the online experience. It’s interesting, challenging, and very realistic.  At this moment in time I like battling it out online (Online alias: AK-WOLF) with games such as COD5 and PES 2009.

In order to wrap it up, I’ll leave you with one final thought:

“If people could wage wars through online gaming the world would be a much happier and safer place”
